Molly’s role has grown with the business. She started helping out our clients with social media when Make Me Local was in its infancy and now, due to her success, she runs her own team. Her expertise ensures that clients stand out on social media, following the data to reach their target audience and boost their online presence. Molly is always keen to meet new clients and talk about their businesses – if you are interested in social media, Molly will carry out a full consultation to make sure we can represent your business perfectly.
If you’re out enjoying Bromley’s nightlife this weekend, you’ll more than likely bump into Molly – she is on the hunt for Bromley’s best mojito. She is designated Instagrammer when she’s with her friends, which is perhaps why she’s so good at her job. Family is very important to Molly, and she has three sisters – her poor dad is a little outnumbered by women. As it happens, we know him rather well as he owns Double Dee Autos and is one of our longest standing clients.
Molly’s quickfire questions
What’s your job in a nutshell?
I am responsible for planning, implementing, managing, and monitoring our clients’ social media strategies to increase brand awareness.
Tell me some of the most important things about your job role. What do you need to be good at?
Differentiation is one of the biggest challenges in the saturated social media space. This means that creativity is key when curating thumb-stopping content!
Give me two or three pieces of wisdom about your role. What is particularly important?
Never stop learning and adapting. Social media is constantly evolving, and quickly! As a social media manager, it’s my duty to ensure I am always on top of the game.
Which Make Me Local value is most applicable to your role?
Results driven success. Analytics are your best friend in social media marketing. It’s important to know what works and what doesn’t, using data to guide your content creation.
How did you get into your industry? What interests you about it?
I have always had an interest in digital marketing, and it was an avenue I wanted to explore after sixth form. As I was researching apprenticeships, my dad (a web design client of ours) asked Nathan if he had any opportunities, and it just so happened he was looking for a social media manager! More than anything I love the creative aspect of the industry. I have a good eye for detail, and I love putting it to good use during content creation (trust me, I could spend hours on Canva!)
Describe yourself in 3 words.
Honest, reliable, friendly.
Tell us something we won’t know about you (or more things, if you can)!
I’m deaf in one ear! You’d never know unless you were stood on my right side; so, if you think I’m ignoring you, just change to my left side and you’ll be good to go!
Never have I ever…
Been snorkelling! Even though I’m not a huge fan of the sea I would love to go one day.
