What’s your job in a nutshell?
I work closely with our clients to ensure that their online content is engaging their target audience. As part of this I am responsible for managing client requests that come through to our updates inbox, acting as their first point of contact. I then liaise with our development team to make these changes and to create new content, such as location pages and blogs.
Tell me some of the most important things about your job role. What do you need to be good at?
It is important for me to thoroughly understand our clients’ businesses and objectives. This ensures that every change made to their website aligns with their goals. It will also allow me to offer effective advice if our clients are experiencing any issues. Another vital quality is attention to detail. As I am responsible for quality control, I must make sure that any updates or changes are completed to the client’s specifications.
Give me two or three pieces of wisdom about your role. What is particularly important?
- Research is key! Knowing your client and their business inside out is the only way to represent them effectively online.
- Relatability is a must. Our clients have to feel comfortable approaching me with any issues or updates they may have.

How did you get into your industry? What interests you about it?
I was drawn to the industry because of how rewarding the work is. Being able to make a genuine difference to local businesses and produce the positive results that they require is an amazing feeling and is highly motivating.
